Formulate both short- and long-term goals for patients with type 2 diabetes in order to minimize morbidity and mortality.
Target Audience
Diabetes specialists, primary care physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, and pharmacists who participate in the care of patients with diabetes.
Learning Objective
Analyze short-term and long-term goals of therapy for patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) in accordance with current guidelines.
